Cloud Infrastructure

Cloud treated as an extension of the network: hybrid connectivity, cloud networking, and migration planning grounded in the same infrastructure discipline.

Cloud infrastructure is still infrastructure. It still has routing, segmentation, and access control decisions that determine whether it's reliable and secure. TCPGrid is actively building out cloud networking and hybrid connectivity capability on top of its existing networking and systems foundation.

This capability area is in active development. Current engagements focus on hybrid connectivity and migration planning; broader managed cloud infrastructure services are on the roadmap as the practice matures.

What's included

Hybrid infrastructure connectivity

Connecting on-premises networks to cloud environments with secure, reliable routing.

Cloud networking design

VPC/VNet architecture, subnetting, and routing design for cloud-hosted workloads.

Migration planning

Assessing on-premises infrastructure and planning a path to hybrid or cloud-hosted environments.

Cloud security fundamentals

Applying network segmentation and access-control principles to cloud environments.

How we approach it

01

Assess readiness

Evaluate current infrastructure and workloads for what belongs in the cloud, and what doesn't yet.

02

Design connectivity

Plan the hybrid network path between existing infrastructure and cloud environments.

03

Migrate incrementally

Move workloads in stages, validating each before proceeding to reduce risk of disruption.

04

Extend the practice

This capability is expanding, so engagements today are scoped conservatively to what can be delivered reliably.

Let's build something reliable.
